Of all the things you are learning in school, what do you think will be the most useful when you are an adult? Explain why.
Hello my friends!
Well, looks like the snow is keeping us from school for a little bit longer. Hope you are all safe, warm, and enjoying some time with your families. Since we couldn't be in school today, and we won't be there tomorrow (Tuesday), I'd like you to work on a few things. First, I want you to respond to this post. Please write (type) a journal entry about what you've been doing during this snowstorm. Include thoughts, feelings, activities, etc. I will post a sample. Some of our SUMMARY words might help you organize your thoughts! Next, math facts. Sit with someone and practice the multiplication fact you are working on. (If you're "done" with your facts, practice for speed!) Suggestions: Practice with cards, make your own Mad Minute, have someone orally give you facts, etc. ALSO, please visit Xtramath if you haven't already! I'm going to be checking the site to see who participates today and tomorrow :) READ! READ! READ! I know you don't have a recording sheet, but please continue to read at least 20 minutes a day. Finally, visit one (or more!) of the websites that I've posted on this site. They are lots of fun and great practice. I miss you all. See you very soon! Mrs. Polansky We began talking about our share today. I love our decision to share fractions in a "restaurant style." What are some of your other ideas for the share? I know I didn't get to hear everyone today, so please jot down your thoughts below!
