Since we are focusing on the history of Durham and Middlefield, my question is... How do you think the towns have changed over the past 100 or even 200 years? Do you think anything is the same?

i think durham i has a little bit i think this because.i dont think dari serv was there for the past 100-200 years if it was i would be impressed. another thing that has changed about durham is that again i dont think carmines has been there for the past 100-200 years if it was i would be surprised. and the things i think that have been here for that long are the town hall of course it the town hall it had to be here that long. and i think thats the only thing thats been here for 100-200 years.

Durham has definitely changed in the past 100 or 200 years. An example of this change is Perk on Main. It has definitely not been around for 100 or 200 years. A place in Durham that has been here for 280 is the Durham library. It was founded in 1733. Durham has been here for 314 years. It was founded in 1699 by Caleb Seward.

Durham has really changed through the past 100-200 years. A example of the change is Dunkin Donuts. It definitely hasn't been around for that long. A place in Durham that has been here for 280 is the Durham Library. It was founded in 1733 which Sadie also mentioned. Durham was founded in 1699 which means it has been here for 314 years. i think durham has changed over the past 100-200 years. one way it has changed is that there are more people here now. there was probably not as many roads because they traveled by horses and not cars. it was probably darker at nightime because there wasn't electricity. things that may not have changed are some of the old houses in town.

Middlefield has changed over the past time. There are more peoplein Middlefield now than there was back then. There was not paved roads back then. There were no cars. People got around by wagons pulled by horses.

I think Middlefield has changed because back-then there were lots of farms and probably no developments. Also, back-then you had to work to grow or harvest your food and today people just have to hop in their car, drive to a store, and then use money to buy food!

I think Durham has changed in many ways in the last 100-200 years. Here is one way how Durham changed. 100-200 years ago there weren't any restaurants such as Perk on Main, Cozy Corner, and Carmine's Pizza. Those have been recently added to Main Street Durham. However, The Durham Library has been around for a while now. It was founded 25 years after Durham was incorporated. The town of Durham has one of the first public libraries. It was founded in 1733, two years after Ben Franklin started the Philadelphia library.
