Bronx Zoo fun 2015!
Visiting various Durham/Middlefield sites. It was a beautiful day learning about the history of these two towns! Special thanks to Mrs. Martin for guiding us around the Durham side!
Check out some photos from our 5-day residency with "Miss Kim." We had a blast "dancing through poetry!"
Room 13 is fortunate to be able to work with students from Wesleyan on a mural for our hallway. Our theme: Math! We decided to make our mural look like a math dance party. Stay tuned for some great photos!
A Monarch caterpillar was brought in by one of our students in September of this year. We enjoyed learning about it's life cycle, and watching him go through some interesting changes. We named him "Slasher", tagged him with the help of a parent, and sent him free! Hopefully we will soon find out that he made it all the way to Mexico. Go, go, go Slasher!
On October 30, our class visited Case Quarry as part of our Reading the Environment study. Thanks to Mrs. Martin, we learned a ton about different rocks and minerals, sorted our findings into egg cartons, and learned all about "Pangea" with graham crackers and frosting. What a delicious way to learn science! Thanks to all who came along with us!
